In-Home & Virtual Quality of Life Consultations

Helping you make informed, compassionate decisions for your pet’s comfort and well-being.

Knowing when the time is right — or how to improve your pet’s comfort — can feel overwhelming. A quality of life consultation offers clarity, reassurance, and thoughtful guidance so you can move forward with confidence and peace.

We offer both in-home and virtual consultations, depending on what feels most supportive for your family.

A 30–45 minute visit in your home with Dr. Cory to evaluate your pet’s comfort and provide personalized guidance.

In-Home Quality of Life Consultation

A 30–45 minute visit in your home with Dr. Cory. Your pet is observed in their natural environment, allowing for hands-on assessment of comfort, mobility, and overall well-being. We discuss daily habits, appetite, hydration, pain, and quality of life, and provide personalized recommendations. Guidance on timing, preparation, and next steps — including euthanasia if appropriate — is provided. A gentle physical exam is included.

Virtual Quality of Life Consultation

A 30-45 minute video consultation offering thoughtful guidance and support. We review your pet’s current condition, discuss changes you’ve noticed, and walk through quality-of-life assessment tools together. While a physical exam is not performed, meaningful clarity and reassurance can still be provided.

You’ll also receive:

  • Printed or digital quality of life assessment tools to use at home
  • Access to pain scales and comfort assessment charts
  • A pet loss and grief support resource packet

Please note: While a physical examination will be performed, this consultation focuses on guidance and comfort care. Medical treatments or prescriptions may require follow-up with your primary care veterinarian.
